Ion Cleanse Foot Bath
An Ion Cleanse Foot Bath immerses your feet in a small tub of warm salt water equipped with a device emitting a low electrical current into the water, sending positively and negatively charged ions through the body. Once you’ve finished soaking, choose the Aromatherapy Lotion of your choice for a light, relaxing foot massage at the end.
The treatment is relaxing and has many benefits:
Ion Cleanse Foot Baths may boost the immune system, increase energy levels, relieve allergies, and purge the body of heavy metals. After having an ionic foot cleanse you may experience reduced inflammation, significant pain relief, less fluid retention, better memory, and improved sleep patterns. Other scientifically measured effects of this detox, include alkalization of the body’s pH levels, lowered blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol levels.
Healthy individuals can expect to feel lighter and experience a greater feeling of well-being from each session. Some people with pain, edema, swollen, and deteriorating joints have reported symptomatic relief from the sessions.
Is the Ion Cleanse Foot Bath good for anybody?
Yes! Most people can benefit from an Ion Cleanse Foot Bath. It is especially good for those suffering from GI disorders, skin conditions, fungal or yeast infections, and cancer. The Ion Cleanse Foot Bath is contraindicated for people with epilepsy, who are pregnant or breast feeding, those who have a pacemaker, are on blood thinners, have any blood disorders or who have open sores or lesions on his/her feet. People with Diabetes Type I should use this therapy with precaution.
The benefit of this form of detox is that it is, “gentle and safe, and not compromising because it bypasses the gastro-intestinal system,” according to Christine Adamo, a board certified Oriental Medicine Physician. The detox also works well when accompanied with acupuncture, to stimulate blood flow, in treating peripheral neuropathy.
