A to Zen recently launched the FIRST RESPONDERS’ MASSAGE PROGRAM. The program provides reduced pricing to local police/law enforcement, fire, and EMS professionals as well as those who support them in the workplace. The program is offering First Responders 20% off all regularly priced services Monday through Wednesday and 10% off Thursday through Sunday.
Brown, who also started Balance Day Spa in 1996, created the program as gesture of appreciation and thanks. “Locally and around the world, emergency services providers do so much to help the communities they serve, both through and beyond their jobs. Recently, I worked with a sheriff’s deputy who raises money for Shriner’s Hospitals in his off hours. I’ve also been in countless triathlons, runs and bike races where these professionals assist and watch out for the competitors in a variety of ways.”
Brown also notes the huge need of First Responders, who often deal with a larger than average level of stress and strain on their bodies and minds, to find ways to relax and recharge. “Several years ago, I participated in a “ride-along” program offered by the Jaycees and the Greensboro Police Department. During the shift, I experienced a tiny sample of the challenges officers deal with in their jobs. I can only imagine the stress these professionals contend with daily and am thrilled to help them relax for less with our new program.”
To receive the discount, First Responders should bring their badge or official ID to the first appointment.
